Decisions tested on real finishes
A fixture specified without modeling is a guess. We model in DIALux Evo, then review fixtures, color temperature, and scenes on your actual materials in the Design Lab before specification is final. What the model predicts is what we hold construction to.
Every equivalent reviewed
A substitution accepted without photometric review is where design intent quietly disappears. We review each one against CRI, beam angle, dimming protocol, and physical fit, and recommend a course of action to whoever holds approval.
Lighting checked in the field
A site observation at rough-in confirms fixture locations, ceiling depth, housings, and control locations while correction is still simple and inexpensive.
Aimed, set, and explained
An installed lighting system is not a finished lighting system. Aiming, scene setup, and dimming review happen at the end of every Illumify engagement — not as an optional add-on.
Control Intent and Human-Centric Lighting
Control is a design decision, not a device purchase. We specify and coordinate control systems — from Lutron Homeworks to contractor-grade platforms — so dimming curves, scenes, and circadian shifts behave the way they were intended, on the correct circuits, and are set at commissioning. We author the control intent; programming and integration are performed by your electrical or system integrator partner.

Illumify was founded by Jared Jin, P.E., LC, MBA — a licensed engineer who spent a decade in lighting product engineering, designing the luminaires, drivers, and controls that get specified into architectural and high-end residential projects.
That decade showed him the same pattern again and again: a well-designed lighting plan meets value engineering, substitutions, and field conditions, and often no one is assigned to carry the design through them.
Illumify exists to carry it. Based in Norcross, Georgia, we serve metro Atlanta and take select projects across the Southeast — using photometric modeling, clear specifications, and on-site coordination so the lighting design survives contact with construction.
